iCal Server and Over The Air iPhone Syncing: The Quest Continues

My how things change in just a few months. Recent economic uncertainly, a new president elect…our outlook on the future changes by the minute.

Earlier this year, when I wrote about iCal Server being the "Holy Grail" of collaborative software on Mac, there wasn't much out there for an organization to share their calendar information on Macs. It was truly a revolutionary service, but like all things in technology, it's old news (although that post did push us to #1 in google's rankings for "iCal Server").

"You definitely have gained our business."

"I was very pleased and impressed at Tech Superpowers' managing of all the glitches that came up when the equipment was converted to new operating system, scan issue, etc, etc.

RAW files, DNG, Adobe and the cameras...

If you've shot digital for any time, you may have dabbled in RAW. You may shoot nothing but RAW, you may even have the tattoo... (no, you can't see mine.) If this is the case, you can't help but be aware that every new digital camera that comes out is very likely to have it's own, special, RAW format. In many cases, if you're one of the ones to run out and buy the hot new sweet thing on the market, you actually have to wait until Adobe releases the next version of Camera RAW to actually process the new RAW files in Photoshop.

Full Pockets: iPhone 3G vs. Blackberry Bold

I find myself in unique position. A few weeks ago, I heard about a "new" blackberry from my US associates, a better, faster version of the Blackberry of yore. Not some slicked up, miniature, multicolor version of the real thing, this Blackberry called the "Bold" would redefine what the "real" Blackberry was.

Little did I know that it was already in my pocket.
